Music industry and reality shows

 Participating in reality shows can be really good for upcoming artist, it can give you a jump into fame and change your life completely but it does not mean to change it into good.

Participating in these type of shows can make you achieve very good things, for example, if you want to become a pop star it will be easier for record labels to recognise you and your talent due to the TV exposure you will be get. moreover, since record labels now have recognised your talent, it will be easier for the to invest money on you and your talent. furthermore, participating in talent shows cab help you to develop your talent even further. However, the talent show industry is heavily driven by marketing, this means people can choose who they want to invest in, there is a lot of bias on these type of situations, your age can be a benefiting factor as well as a limiting factor, also the way you look can have consequence, the ultimate goals for these shows is to make profit and they would do everything in order to reach that goal. moreover, there is evidently not a lot of variety of music genres that are presented in those shows, it has become very generic American pop music which can prevent other people that play other styles of music with true talent.
