 Participating in reality shows can be really good for upcoming artist, it can give you a jump into fame and change your life completely but it does not mean to change it into good. Participating in these type of shows can make you achieve very good things, for example, if you want to become a pop star it will be easier for record labels to recognise you and your talent due to the TV exposure you will be get. moreover, since record labels now have recognised your talent, it will be easier for the to invest money on you and your talent. furthermore, participating in talent shows cab help you to develop your talent even further.   My track will be fusing funk and metal where it will be mainly presented through the bass but drums will also take part in the track, the funk parts will involve catchy riff which will develop to other ideas that will be fused and joined together with bass metal-like riff and it will be like that throughout the whole song. Artist that influenced my work is the bassist from Vulfpeck, Joe dart, which is a bassist I look up to, in the other hand, for the metal part the band that influenced me the most is System of a down band which for me, they have a very heavy and melodic bass which is what I am aiming for. I used a focusrite interface to be able to record the bass on logic but I still have not thought about how i will record drums for my track, it may done by MIDI or record an actual drum.
